What to Expect
Your adventure begins at the marina, where you’ll receive a short briefing about the boat, safety procedures and the marine species you may encounter.
Once on board, the crew will take you out into the Atlantic in search of dolphins and whales. Land-based spotters help identify the animals’ locations, allowing the crew to make the most of the conditions at sea.
Throughout the trip, a marine biologist will share information about the animals’ behaviour, habitats and characteristics, helping you understand the incredible marine biodiversity of Madeira.
Every trip is different because wildlife moves freely in its natural environment. You may encounter dolphins swimming alongside the boat, see whales surfacing in the distance or discover other marine species along the way.
The experience lasts approximately 2.5 hours.
