We begin at the beautiful Boca dos Namorados viewpoint, overlooking the dramatic Nuns Valley.
Here, you’ll hear fascinating stories about the pirates who once threatened Madeira and discover how the unique geology of the island shaped these enormous mountains and deep ravines.

Off-Road to Pico Grande — Heart of the Island

Back in the jeep, the adventure continues along an incredible off-road trail that leads us toward Pico Grande, the geographic centre of Madeira.

Surrounded by silence, forest and endless views, this area offers a superb panorama over the mountains, the sea and — on many days — a sea of clouds floating below.
It’s one of the most striking viewpoints of the entire island.

Local Bar Stop — Coffee or Poncha Like a Local

After descending the mountain, we stop at a typical Madeiran bar for a quick break.
Enjoy a coffee, taste a fresh Poncha or simply relax and feel the island’s authentic atmosphere.

It’s a small moment, but one that visitors always remember.

Vineyard Off-Road — Through Henriques & Henriques Terroir

Next, we dive into a final off-road descent through the vineyards of Henriques & Henriques, one of Madeira’s oldest and most traditional wine producers.

Driving through these terraces, you’ll see how the island’s unique landscape shapes the flavour of its wines.

Cabo Girão Skywalk — Floating Above the Ocean

Our adventure continues to Cabo Girão, the famous skywalk standing 589 metres above the sea.
With its glass platform and dramatic cliffs, this is one of the most impressive viewpoints in Europe — a perfect highlight before the grand finale.

Henriques & Henriques Wine Lodge — A Delicious Ending

We finish the tour in the charming village of Câmara de Lobos, where you’ll visit the Henriques & Henriques wine lodge.
